Today is the start of our new module, Performance Lab. Beforehand our class was given the task to bring in an object which is personal and makes a sound, yet is not an instrument; it's quite a vague task but it made our outcomes ever more interesting.
This is what me and my group brought in:
Rae - Cat ornament
Serrell - Bracelet made from can tabs, my 2 favourite mechanical pencils and acorns from Iraq ( I couldn't decide what to bring lol )
Helen - Bottle caps
Sara - Novelty torch
Kordian - Baby phone toy
In less than an hour using just these items we had to compose either a piece of music or a scene using just their sounds, which we perform to the class behind curtains. This is the outcome:
